Terms of Use

These terms and conditions govern the provision of solar panel installations, air conditioning, heat pump, battery storage, EV charger, and related renewable energy services by CRG Direct Ltd.

• By requesting a quote, proceeding with a consultation, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

• A formal contract signed by both parties is required before work commences.

• All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

• Any changes to the scope of work must be approved in writing by both parties.

Payment details and methods are set out in your individual service contract.

• Standard payment structure:

• 30% deposit required to secure your installation date

• Progress payments due at agreed milestones during installation

• Final payment due upon completion and handover

• We accept bank transfers, cash payments, and credit cards.

• Payment must be made within 30 days of invoice date.

• Late payments may incur interest charges as per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your property and requirements

• Ensure safe and clear access to the installation site on agreed dates

• Protect your belongings and advise our team of any hazards

• Obtain any necessary permissions from landlords or freeholders

• Provide utility access as required and inform us of any protective devices

• Respond promptly to communications and provide timely decisions on project matters

• Allow our team to photograph the completed work for portfolio and training purposes (unless you object)

CRG Direct commits to:

• Complete all work in accordance with the agreed specification and timeline

• Use appropriate materials and professional installation standards

• Maintain all necessary insurance and licenses throughout the project

• Keep the installation site clean and tidy each working day

• Provide a warranty on our workmanship (details in warranty section)

• Communicate project progress and inform you of any changes

• Comply with all relevant building regulations and safety standards

• Leave your property in good condition upon completion

CRG Direct provides the following warranties on our workmanship:

• Solar panel installations and major system work: 25-year warranty

• Air conditioning and heat pump installations: 10-year warranty

• Electrical work and battery storage: 5-year warranty

• Manufacturer warranties also apply to equipment (typically 10-25 years depending on product).

• Warranties do not cover:

• Misuse, neglect, or improper use of systems

• Wear and tear from normal operation

• Damage from external factors (storms, subsidence, etc.)

• Unauthorized modifications or repairs

• All warranty claims must be reported to us in writing within 30 days of discovery.

CRG Direct shall not be liable for:

• Delays caused by adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances

• Delays due to permit applications or building control approvals

• Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control

• Damage to unprotected items left on the property during installation

• Unprotected items should be removed before work begins.

• Our liability for breach of contract is limited to the total value of the contract.

• You are responsible for obtaining adequate insurance for your property and systems.

• We recommend you maintain buildings insurance throughout the project period.

• Any changes to the scope of work may affect project dates and costs.

In the event of a dispute:

• We encourage direct communication to resolve issues promptly.

• If direct communication does not resolve the matter, we agree to enter mediation.

• If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute shall be governed by English law.

• Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of Portsmouth, England.

• Both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably.

CRG Direct reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time.

• Changes will be communicated to existing clients before they take effect.

• Updated terms will be posted on our website.

• Continued engagement of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

• For significant changes, we will notify you directly by email.
